Only 20% of people make it this far…

We’re getting to that time of year when most people start losing steam on their New Year’s goals.

Studies show that 80% of people give up on their resolutions by February

So, if you’re feeling that motivation slip, you’re not alone!

But if you want to breathe some life back into the intentions you set at the beginning of the year, I have a quick, 10-minute exercise that can help.

It’s simple:

Take just 10 minutes to sit down and imagine what your life looks like a few months from now when you’ve stayed committed to finding balance in your faith, fitness, and finances, finally prioritizing your health or building healthy habits that last.

Ask yourself these questions:

👉 How do you feel when you wake up in the morning?
Picture it: you open your eyes feeling energized, confident, and entirely in control of your day—no longer dragging yourself out of bed or dreading what’s ahead.

👉 What do you see when you look in the mirror?
Do you see the strong, vibrant, healthy version of yourself you’ve been working toward?

👉 How do your friends and family react to the ‘new’ you?
Are they inspired by the changes you’ve made? Do they notice how much happier, more energized, or confident you’ve become?

👉 What activities can you enjoy now that you couldn’t before?
Maybe it’s running that 5K, staying focused at work, playing with your kids without feeling winded, or finally feeling like “you” again.

👉 How has achieving your goal impacted other areas of your life?
Do you feel more fulfilled, at peace, and connected to the person you want to be?

This exercise aims to connect with the future version of yourself and truly feel what it’s like—not just the “goal” itself, but the deeper reason you set that goal in the first place.

When you can connect with that version of you…

It becomes easier to stay motivated, even when life throws challenges your way.

So take 10 minutes today (or at least sometime this week!) to try this exercise.

And the next time you’re feeling stuck or unmotivated? Come back to this visualization to remind yourself why you started.

You’ve got this! 💕

Committed to your success!
