Why we quit habits too soon

We’re already a couple of weeks into the year…

How are those resolutions holding up?

If you:

  • Want to prioritize your health while building your dream business finally?
  • Are you already feeling the “honeymoon phase” of your goals fading away?
  • But you’re determined to make this year different from all before…

Let’s talk about doing LESS.

Yes, less!

Research shows that overwhelming ourselves with too many tasks and decisions can make it harder to stick to new habits.

It’s called “decision fatigue,” and it’s real.

So, how do you overcome it?

By simplifying your approach.

Instead of trying to do everything at once to reach your goals, ask yourself: What unnecessary steps can I eliminate?

Here are a few examples:

Focus on ONE key habit that makes the biggest impact. For example, setting an intention every morning or moving your body for 10 minutes.

Say “no” to extra steps. Instead of trying to cook every single day, try meal prepping for a few days at once to save time and energy.

Aim for small, consistent actions. Like 10 minutes of journaling or reflection, each night beats trying to do an hour-long session that never happens.

Whatever makes it easier to stick with your new habits!

Remember: Doing less doesn’t mean you care less—it means being strategic. You’ll move the needle without burning yourself out by focusing your energy on what truly matters.

So, if you’re noticing signs of slipping on your New Year’s goals, maybe it’s time to try doing a little LESS.
